Refund policy

At Atelier Emelie, we create both made-to-order garments and a curated selection of ready-made products. As these categories differ in nature, our return policy is outlined separately below.


MADE-TO-ORDER PIECES

Each garment is thoughtfully handcrafted, made especially for you upon order. For this reason, we do not offer refunds on made-to-order items.

We kindly ask that all purchases are made with intention, honoring the craftsmanship behind every piece.

If your garment does not meet your expectations or requires a refined fit, we offer:

Store Credit
Return your item in exchange for a full store credit, valid for 6months.

Alteration Service
You may return your piece for adjustments within our atelier. Alterations are priced individually depending on the requested changes (starting from 350SEK).
Please contact us prior to returning your item.

Conditions

  • Returns must be made within 14 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be unworn, in original condition, with all tags attached
  • Customised or altered pieces are not eligible for store credit

READY-MADE PRODUCTS
(including accessories, hair clips, bath products and similar items)

We accept returns on ready-made products.

  • Returns must be made within 14 days of receiving your order
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition

You will receive a refund or store credit once the item has been returned and approved.

Please note:
Return shipping costs are always the responsibility of the customer.


RETURN PROCESS

To ensure your return is processed correctly, please include the following in your parcel:

  • Full name
  • Order number
  • Reason for return
  • Preferred outcome (store credit, refund, or alteration)

Returns received without this information may not be processed.


FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS

In the rare event that your item arrives faulty or not in accordance with your order, please contact us with photographic evidence. We will review each case individually and ensure a fair resolution.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Atelier Emelie reserves the right to decline or cancel an order under certain circumstances, including:

  • Item unavailability
  • Incorrect or unverifiable billing details
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Delivery limitations
  • Errors in pricing or product information

Orders returned due to failed delivery or incorrect address will require additional shipping fees. We are not liable for lost items due to incorrect information provided at checkout.
